Located about 50 km (45 minutes) from the city of Edmundston, Moose Valley Sporting Lodge was founded in September 1994 by Lee Blanchette. Built on the site of a former hunting camp established by his father, Gérald Blanchette, in 1962, the lodge carries a deep legacy of tradition, outdoor passion, and family spirit. Originally a private chalet for hunting and relaxation, the area quickly gained recognition as a prime destination for hunters and nature lovers.
Starting with a licensed restaurant and a fuel service for travelers, Moose Valley steadily grew alongside its local and visiting clientele. Today, it offers a full range of outdoor activities and amenities, making it a true haven for snowmobilers, ATV enthusiasts, hunters, and outdoor adventurers from across Canada, the United States, and even Europe.
