About Us

founded in 1994

Outdoor Centre and deemed restaurant, located about 50 km (45 minutes) of the city of Edmundston, in the forested areas of northwestern New Brunswick, The Moose Valley Sporting Lodge was founded with the aim of provide services for snowmobilers, ATV enthusiasts and hunters.

In September 1994, Lee Blanchette landscape, hunting camp on land owned by his father Gerald Blanchette, which will become the Moose Valley Sporting Lodge. Before Lee in 1962, Gerald had built his cottage for hunting and rest. This area was a very successful hunting area.

A licensed restaurant and a gas supply service have been the first services of the camp. Over the years, while the local and external customers increases dramatically, new services and more activities are added to meet the demands of a growing customer base.

Five cottages were built. A new federated snowmobile trail was traced and several snowshoe trails have been built. Several packages have become available and many annual events have added to the program.

The Moose Valley Sporting Lodge restaurant and bar has evolved according to customer request with a menu that has earned the reputation of a good table; known for its warm atmosphere and its dynamic and helpful team.

Today the Moose Valley Sporting Lodge receives clients from several Canadian provinces and several US states. Now known internationally, is a new European customers who also just enjoy the wild nature of our outdoor center in order to do many activities.

Forested areas Northwest of the province are a paradise for snowmobilers, fans of hunting and outdoor enthusiasts. Beautiful environment and land to practice their favorite sports and relax.
